Towards “Imagination”

This sunday the Scroll Ensemble will perform in the “Verbeelding” (Imagination) on land that only half a century ago was not more than Mr. Lely’s imagination. We take you on a tour through Italy from early Basse Dance to the gestures of Luciano Berio, from the instrumental prowess of violinists Corelli and Vivaldi to Athanasius Kircher’s music machine, and our experimental mini(!)-opera La Ninfa.
