Rachel Farr – Dance
Singer and dancer Rachel Farr is educated at both the Royal Academy of Dancing and Trinity College (London), Fontys Conservatoire (Tilburg) and Utrecht University. Her sung repertoire, as a soloist and as a choir member, stretches from the Middle Ages to the present day.
She also dances repertoire from the Renaissance to the early nineteenth century. She teaches dance to a.o. students of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, as well as workshops and dance courses at for example Utrecht Early Music Festival. She also makes choreographies for baroque opera productions.
In 2006 she founded the Aeolus Baroque Ensemble and since 2013 she is a member of the Klemisch Consort Berlin.
